We stayed at La Aldea de la Selva and were pleasantly surprised at the beauty and ambiance of the place. The hotel is located a short cab ride from town, in the direction of Iguazu Falls (which means a shorter ride to the falls from the hotel!) The rooms are arranged in pods, hidden in the jungle just a short walk from the main lodge. We were accommodated perfectly in a double queen bed room for me and my wife, and a room in the same 'pod' with three twin beds for our three adult children. The rooms were quiet, private, and perfectly appointed for being in a jungle. There was even a hammock on the balcony! We enjoyed the pool area after a hot day at Iguazu Falls, and the breakfast was ample and delicious. We also appreciated the effort the hotel is made to minimize its environmental impact in this environmentally sensitive area.
