The view from the window, although not stunning was lovely in my opinion. I could look out and watch real Parisian life go by. It can be noisy, especially in the morning. It is very close to some great places to eat. The bakery across the street does some of the best filled baguettes I have ever had, and the chocolate escargo. I wish I had brought loads home with me. The hotel has a good deal of stairs, and no alternative. We were on the fifth floor and all the stair killed me, they are awfully steep. The cleaners can be a bit quick with entering the room, and insentient with the knocking. For someone who is a late sleeper, and really doesn't mind too much about the toiletries being replaced daily, it was quite irritating. The hotel is located in a safe area with very easy access to the metro. There was a supermarket located nearby and plenty of places to eat. Unlike others, I didn't have an issue with noise, although as it was winter, I didn't have the window open. I would definitely stay there again. The price is great for Paris, the facilities are very good and the location is excellent.
