Hotels seem to be very similar these days, so it is the details that make this one stand out. But first the essentials. The Metro is just 3 minutes walk away, but many attractions are within walking distance from this hotel. The choice of shops and eating places very close, is huge, and then the warm welcome on arrival is first class. I made some notes of what impressed me. On arrival in our room, we found a hand written note of welcome on the table, and a plate of sweets and pastries; a free non-alcoholic minibar in the fridge; Instant and strong WiFi; Kettle with tea and coffee; Almost silent and accurate air condition unit; A smallish, but complete bathroom with all toiletries, a bath and shower and a lovely old-style basin and mirror (see photo), multi-channel HD television; An efficient and easy to use safety-deposit box; stylish full length drapes; modern key entry. We had breakfast here as the easiest thing to do, and we found they had a good selection - sufficient for our needs for the day ahead. Fruit, cereals, hot selection, pastries etc. On asking about buying stamps, reception took all our postcards and posted them for nothing. Everything we saw was very clean and nicely presented, and the staff could not be more helpful. We used the free snacks at the bar on three occasions, and they were both welcome and perfect. Overall, this was a lovely experience. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving guest the great service that you provide.
